LJ Edwards offers personalized interior design services free of charge such as space planning, color and fabric consultations.

We believe the in-home consultation provides the best environment for the client and design consultant to discuss the needs of the space and for us to gather all of the information necessary to create a functional and beautiful space.

Our talented design staff has access to great space planning tools to help you visualize the space and enable you to feel comfortable knowing everything selected will work together in the existing space.

What’s the most versatile piece of furniture that should be in everyone’s home?
A comfy chair, preferably a swivel. Very soothing, therapeutic as well as useful.
What design rule do you like to break?
That everything has to match. Today our word is blend. Opens limitless possibilities.
What is your most treasured possession?
My mother’s wedding ring. She never took it off from the moment my father but it on her finger to the day she died. It’s a beautiful memory to me of them.
What is something you can’t live without?
Hope. Without it life can be shades of gray.
What makes a home beautiful?
People. The people in it and the people who come us it.
What is your go to design tip you use in most of your projects?
Don’t clutter a room with too much furniture. Think outside the box for those awkward corners. A beautiful plant (preferably silk) brings the outdoors in and softens a room.

Material possessions are not important but I treasure my wife Andrea and children – Max, Noah, Sophie and my goldendoodle Ari!
What is something you can’t live without?
Coffee in the morning!

A happy and healthy family.
What is your go to design tip you use in most of your projects?
Do a floorplan.

I love my Martha! Also any garden design magazine. Your landscape should be an extension of your interior space.
What’s the most versatile piece of furniture that should be in everyone’s home?
A pair of decorative ottomans. Great for a quick extra seat or add a tray to create an end table.
What design rule do you like to break?
Bedroom nightstands. Break away from the set - incorporate a painted or mirrored look. Maybe even a small desk.
What is your most treasured possession?
A Steuben glass rabbit. This was my grandmother's who carried it in her purse when she moved to any new residence.
What is something you can’t live without?
The opportunity to pull out my holiday decorations every year. I love how the home can become so magical.
What makes a home beautiful?
Meaningful and impactful lighting, artwork and accessories.
What is your go to design tip you use in most of your projects?
Scale is crucial. I never want to overwhelm any room with too much furniture.

A wonderfully comfortable chair in any room. Let a great looking chair take the place of a loveseat!

If you are really passionate about a piece and you love it, you can definitely make it work!
What is your most treasured possession?
I love my grandmother''s china tea cups. I use them when I serve in my dining room.

What makes a home beautiful?
Your personal touch, and that warm wonderful feeling you get when you look around at all your lovely furnishings. Then you know you're home.
What is your go to design tip you use in most of your projects?
Creating a well designed room is most important and you will want to complete your living space with beautiful drapes and window coverings.
Start a Room Plan
